The first day of classes for the 2009-2010 school year is Wednesday., September 9th. Classes begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. with the Main Entrance doors opening at 7:30 am for breakfast in the school cafeteria. All students will follow their Wednesday schedule, with a dismissal time of 12:47 pm.

Students who did not receive a copy of their class schedule may
arrive earlier to pick up their programs. Students with questions or
concerns regarding their programs are to note them in writing and
turn them over to their advisors so that the school programmers can
investigate and follow up.

All students are to report to their first period Weds. class in
their WJPS uniform. If you have placed an order with Scholastic
School Uniforms and have not received your uniform yet you must
inform Mr. Millman and submit documentation/note from home indicating
such. Until your uniform arrives please dress appropriately-
white/navy/gold or black plain shirt or blouse and khaki/navy/or
black slacks or skirt. Remember- jeans are not part of the school
uniform.

Students who are entitled to Metro Cards will receive them during the
first week of school- but may not necessarily receive them on the
first day, so please bring emergency transportation fare until you
get your Metro Card - just in case.

All returning WJPS students will be receiving their locks and locker
assignments this week as well. No additional fee will be collected.
The $5.00 rental fee you paid last year will cover you until you
graduate WJPS.
